We are grateful to be to be associated with the Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist (MARBC), a fellowship of independent, self-governing Baptist churches. Our intent is to encourage other local bodies in the faith by helping them fulfill their God-given responsibilities and by aiding them in fulfilling the Great Commission. For more information, check out the MARBC website.

We are also happy to formally associate and work closely together with those who are doctrinally and conservatively akin to our beliefs; thus, we are glad to labor together with those who are not within the MARBC. More broadly, we rejoice with any gospel-believing, repentant followers of Jesus and count them as believers in Christ.

Rev. Darrell Friar has served as our MARBC State Representative since April 2000. His primary responsibility involves overseeing Bass Lake Camp, the state's Regular Baptist Christian camp for children, youth, and families. He is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. He has also studied with Baptist for Israel Institute. He has served pastorates in both Iowa and Minnesota.

He and his wife Cindy have been happily married for over 30 years. The Friars have three grown children (Joy, Ryan and Joel) and four grandchildren...with another on the way (Darrell has pictures that he would be happy to show you!).

Brother Friar is available for meetings in your church, and he may be contacted at
