PASTOR NATHAN HITZ
God is worthy of all praise for His fashioning hand in my life. Under the influence of my parents and because of faithful attendance to church, God opened my heart to recognize my need for salvation at a young age. Later, around age 11, I responded to a camp sermon to serve God with my life as He would see fit, including full-time vocational ministry.
I majored in Biblical Studies and minored in Music during my college years. While pursuing my degree, I served in a local church ministry where I met my future wife, Elaine. She was an Education major who grew up wherever the Air Force sent her family. We married shortly after graduation and spent some time in my Pennsylvania hometown before moving to Minnesota to attend Central Baptist Theological Seminary. I later graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree and have completed classes for a Masters of Theology. God has blessed us with four children along the way.
Since 2008, my family and I have been delighted to serve together with the people who make up Blaine Baptist Church. We sharpen each other and look forward to how God will grow us in the years to come.
